AS A HOBBY
Probably like you and just about everyone else after their first tattoo, I promised my mom I wouldn’t get any more.
Not only did I get a few more, but what started as an innocent appreciation of the culture from the chair eventually turned into a full career shift, going on to work alongside some of the most respected names in the industry.
Over the past 5 years, I’ve moved from observer to operator within the space, helping shape the creative direction and marketing strategies for leading tattoo aftercare brands, as well as tattoo artists from prominent television shows like Ink Master.
That shift came from a passion-first mentality, understanding the nuances of the industry, earning trust within it, and knowing how to translate tattoo culture into a distinct visual and messaging style.
It’s been a hands-on education in community-driven branding, long-term relationship management, and, much like the tattoos themselves, an investment in work that (if you’re lucky) resonates with others from all walks of life.
